Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RichGirlMath (the "Service"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What RichGirlMath Is — and Isn't

RichGirlMath is a self-service budgeting and money-tracking app. It's designed to help you track income and expenses, set budgets, save toward goals, manage recurring transactions, track tax deductions, and organize your finances — including AI-powered tools like the Smart Financial Helper, Smart Insights, and Tax Write-Off Assistant.

RichGirlMath is not a licensed financial advisor, tax preparer, accountant, or law firm. The spending suggestions, tax write-off tags, tax estimates, and AI Assistant responses provided by the Service are for general informational and organizational purposes only. They are not professional financial, tax, investment, or legal advice, and shouldn't be treated as a substitute for guidance from a qualified, licensed professional who knows your full situation. You're responsible for verifying any figures before filing taxes or making financial decisions.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use RichGirlMath.

3. Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Please use accurate information when you register, and let us know right away at the contact below if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

RichGirlMath offers Girl Math (free), Rich Girl Math ($9.99 per month) and Luxe Girl Math ($19.99 per month), described on the Plans page. Paid plans are auto-renewing monthly subscriptions. A plan unlocks the same features on every device where you sign in to the same account.

Purchased in the iPhone/iPad app: payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price each month unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple ID account settings. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its policies.

Purchased on the website: payment is processed by Stripe and renews monthly until you cancel from Manage billing in the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for; we don't provide partial refunds for unused time except where required by law. Switching between Rich and Luxe on the website is prorated.

We may change plan pricing or features going forward, and we'll give you notice before any change affects your billing. Referral credits have no cash value, can only be redeemed once per account for the reward shown in the app, and may be withdrawn if obtained through fake or duplicate accounts.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything illegal, or attempt to access another user's account or data
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its underlying infrastructure
• Attempt to modify your own subscription tier or billing status outside of the normal checkout process
• Use any AI feature to generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content
• Misrepresent your identity or provide false account information

6. Your Content

You own the financial data you enter into RichGirlMath. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that data solely to provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. AI Features Disclaimer

The Smart Financial Helper, AI Tax Write-Off Assistant, and AI Assistant chat are generated by a large language model and, like any AI system, can be incomplete, outdated, or simply wrong. Don't rely on them as your sole source for a financial, tax, or legal decision — verify important information with a licensed professional.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any calculation, estimate, or suggestion it produces will be accurate or complete.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RichGirlMath and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for financial or tax decisions made in reliance on information from the Service.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly.

12. Apple App Store Terms

If you downloaded RichGirlMath from the Apple App Store, these Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula) also applies. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app, is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to it, and is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms with the right to enforce them against you.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
